Title/Position: Advertising Sales, Colebridge News Editorial Team


Main Activities:

• To be part of the Colebridge News Editorial Team
• To attend the Friday team meetings when possible
• To advise the team on advertising issues
• To liaise with other volunteer Team members re: advertising
• To make contact with potential advertisers by telephone, letter, fax, email or in person

Skills Required:

• Confidence in using the telephone and email
• An awareness of what influences business people
• Enthusiasm for the Colebridge News

Length of Commitment: Up to One Year

Estimated Hours: Does not need a regular commitment; attendance at the weekly meetings is desirable, but not essential. Two hours per week (approximately, and when possible) contacting potential and current advertisers

Location: The Colebridge Trust, Smith's Wood Shopping Centre
