Who
Are We?
We
are an independent, not for private profit social enterprise
company, established and managed by local people with support
from Solihull Council and other local voluntary and community
organisations. Our business name is the North Solihull Community
Development Trust Ltd. When the Trust began regular volunteers
and the first Directors of the board decided that we should
look for a new name. They put their thinking caps on and
came up with the name The Colebridge Trust, which we now
use as our trading name - 'Cole' because the River Cole runs
straight through the middle of North Solihull and 'Bridge'
because we feel that it represents our role in the community. Community
Development Trusts exist all over the country, to find
out more about them visit www.dta.org.uk
What Do We Do?
We operate
for the benefit of all who live and work in the area of
North Solihull including, Chelmsley Wood,
Smith's
Wood, Fordbridge, Kingshurst and Castle Bromwich. We
aim to empower, improve and regenerate local neighbourhoods
and we would welcome your involvement and/or any suggestions
or comments that you have about the local area or issues
you feel need addressing.
