Detached Work

Detached Youth workers work with young people who find it hard to utilise the existing opportunities or youth provision. There are many reasons why someone falls into this situation; for example, they may lack the skills or the confidence to get involved or may not see the relevance of these groups to their needs. Too often they simply can't find any youth provision. The detached youth workers team helps to fill this gap. An established and experience team of detached workers is currently working with several groups of young people from Chelmsley Wood, Fordbridge and Castle Bromwich.
