North Side at Smith's Wood

This project is based in a ground floor flat in Kingfisher Drive, Smith's Wood. It is set up as an informal drop-in facility and the flat was decorated by young people to help them to create their own space. Evening activities include cooking meals together, sitting down together to eat and discuss concerns such as drugs, crime and violence and alcohol abuse. Rafting and fishing trips have also been organised by the young people. The project has been a great success and has helped to build bridges between the generations.
